Day’s End
Everything seems fast paced these days. There’s always plenty to do and not enough time to fit it all in. For me, this Mornington Peninsula image captures the feelings that wash over you after a busy day has ended. Your jobs are done, so you start to unwind and become reflective. It’s now your time to slow down and savour the remaining hours.
Under The Boardwalk
Sometimes, you find yourself in the right place at the right time. In this case, it was Seaford Pier in Victoria - one of the many gateways to the Mornington Peninsula. This is a favourite image of mine and not just because of the perfect alignment. It’s as if the sun gifted me this shot. I couldn’t help but feel it was setting just for me in this moment. I felt very connected, knowing I was the only person in the world witnessing this sunset in this way. It was an extraordinarily unique window to an ordinary event.
Fire In The Sky
What a spectacular display. The Gods must have been enraged on this particular evening... It really does look like someone’s set fire to the sky. The Great Ocean Road is well-known for its incredible views and the Tom & Eva Lookout is no exception. There’s plenty of beauty and anger in this image, all powered by nature.
